 Packed for the harshness of a cold environment where food, water, shelter, fire and medical are vital. The Canadian Bush Hunter was designed by request for one of our customers who provides a Canadian hunting guide service and needs a serious, rugged kit with reliable components. If you can't make fire and shelter with this outfit you have no business in the bush! Food is normally not a critical survival need but in a seriously cold environment the body needs fuel to generate heat and prevent hypothermia. We have provided 2400 calories of emergency rations, quick energy and the means to procure more food should your stay be prolonged. Need more water? Avoid the agony of Girardia. When water from questionable sources is all that is available - fill your bladder, drop in the appropriate number of purification tablets, wait the prescribed time and you are ready to drink safe water from most any source. This kit even comes with trauma items to treat gunshot wounds!
